Not just your Accountant, Bronwyn’s the Chief Financial Officer you need in your corner
Bronwyn believes that great accounting is about more than just numbers – it’s about understanding your business, planning for success and ensuring financial confidence every step of the way.
Who is Bronwyn Pilkinton?
Bronwyn has worked with businesses of all sizes to simplify their financial management, manage their tax obligations and provide valuable business accountability. She’s not just here to file your tax return – she’s here to help you:
- Understand your finances with clear, practical advice

Meet the team behind the scenes
Shirley – Bookkeeper
Shirley has over three decades of experience in bookkeeping and office administration, working across a wide range of industries. After spending many years employed in corporate roles, she took the leap into contracting and hasn’t looked back.
She became Xero Certified in 2020 (thanks to a nudge from Bronwyn) and brings a meticulous, experienced approach to every set of books she touches. Working remotely gives Shirley the flexibility to balance work with family life.
She’s part of a family business growing Christmas trees – though she’ll tell you her green thumb is reserved for balancing books, not branches. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her with a good book, dreaming up future travel plans, or catching a movie.
Talia – Administrator
Talia is the calm, capable admin pro behind the scenes at BFP. Originally from the tiny village of Glen Massey in the Waikato, she’s now based in the Eastern Bay and balances her time between two roles – one with BFP and one supporting Alzheimers Eastern Bay.
She thrives on problem-solving, learning new skills, and getting things running smoothly (especially Bronwyn’s admin inbox). With a love for photography, travel, and flexible work life, Talia is passionate about being present for her kids while still keeping things humming on the work front.
Her organisational superpowers and down-to-earth attitude make her a perfect fit for the BFP team.
And the team that keep me company
Queen
Queen is the matriarch. She likes to get involved and be a part of everything that is going on.
If she owned her own business, she would be wearing too many hats. She wastes a lot of time watching what everyone else is doing instead of concentrating on her own stuff.
Her ideal day would be rounding the cattle up and moving them to a new paddock……and then moving them back again.
Neeka
The blonde of the family but don’t let that fool you. She’s the quiet achiever that picks up new skills quickly.
Kinda like a millennial entrepreneur, she’s not scared to give new stuff a go even if she doesn’t get it 100% right straight away.
Her ideal day would be napping somewhere warm and sunny or trying to scam pats of anyone that looks like a potential.
Halo
Halo is the baby of the family. She thinks being in the office is boring and the best paperwork is the stuff you can chew up.
Like some of my tradie clients, she would rather be out being active than sitting in the office.
Her ideal day would be outside running and doing everything at 100 miles per hour.
